Our clothes are second skins. We carefully curated high quality materials to be as close as possible to excellence. Shorties, bras and leggings’ fabrics are knitted by French makers specialized in technical and innovative textiles.
Sweatshirts and tee-shirts’ coton is made in Japan by 19th century machines which ensures a superior genuine quality and a specific fluid touch. All our clothes are cut and made in Portugal.
The main pieces of this versatile apparel are : LEVINE leggings, with its pleated belt inspired from a smoking one, and its delicate fabric thought for soft yoga practices. It is not the coïncidence if MAHALA ESSENCE is founded by a woman : the French yoga teacher Ambre Boukebza. « My discovering of yoga transformed my whole life. While I was learning Bikram, the idea of creating a brand struck me, I needed a technical, comfortable and sharp wardrobe to hold my 26 asanas under 42°C », she explains.
Ambre Boukebza teams up with her husband Laurent Israel (More than 20 years of experience in fashion and textile industry : Dior homme, Ralph Lauren, Lacoste, Louis Vuitton).
The clothes are designed by a collective of young creatives fond of sports, music, photo, street art and yoga of course !
